A day at the beach in Florida turns deadly. A brother and sister on vacation with their parents were digging a hole in the sand when it collapsed, burying them. The boy was rescued, but his sister was beneath the sand and it took an excruciating 15 minutes to dig her out. She didn't make it. As Ann Mercogliano reports, it’s a reminder to all parents to be especially careful on the beach. And another mid-flight emergency…this time passengers on an American Airline flight worked together to restrain an unruly passenger threatening to open the emergency door while in the air. Plus, she went on an anti-cop rant on her podcast then just hours later she fatally mowed a cop down while she was driving drunk. Today it was her sentencing...and as Les Trent reports, the slain man's fellow officers filled the courtroom.
