Shalom! Welcome to Catatan Josephine. We are have spiritual intelligence, and not led by our emotional intelligence (as our feelings, emotions). We have the word of God which sharped as two-edge sword. One day I received a newsletter from a ministry I support. There is written in a bold sentence that we don't have to live holy to receive Gods grace. I dont know maybe someone misstype or something, specially in the word "live". If that word is gone it could means something. But here its written like that. If course I read the whole article in that newsletter. They quote them from the galatians. But in my opinion, it can lead to miss understanding because in bible also written that we need to live holy because God is holy. Christ love, agape has boundaries. He wasn't coming to this world and suffered on the cross so we can receive His grace to continue live unholy. Jesus said pray & watch so we are not get tempted. Dont take granted of what Jesus has done for us. We are been given free will & power, but it come with great a responsibility. In this world we need to learn how to live and conduct ourselves holy or else we cannot see God. We need to live according to His words, inside His boundaries, then we are safe. Learn to suffice yourself as it is, have indicators in your heart, dont let your heart corrupt with lust. It's a lifetime learning until Jesus is coming back. Hold on to your faith and keep your eyes only to Jesus.
