Distracted Or Engaged?

In this episode I share from Luke 10:38-41 & John 12:1-7

Mary and Martha are sisters. Jesus visits them and one is distracted in the “busy” of preparing food and the other is in ENGAGED sitting at Jesus feet listening to him share.

Martha is distracted. Mary is ENGAGED.

Mary later in John is found washing Jesus feet with perfume and drying it with her hair. Jesus is about to be crucified and Mary overwhelmed by LOVE does this beautiful act of kindness.

This shows the intimacy between her relationship with Jesus. Martha is serving at this dinner while Mary washes his feet.

I want to be a Mary. Making Jesus TOP priority. Tuning out ALL distractions and focusing on what REALLY matters.
