Two Sons. Two Weaknesses

In this episode I get personal.

I share from Luke 15 and other stories in Bible where because of GREED & JEALOUSY - EVIL is manifested.

Brothers.

Cain and Abel. Jealous. Kills his brother.

Joseph. Brother jealous and sell him into slavery.

Jacob and Esau. Jacob is jealous and TRICKS his Dad into giving him Esau birthright. (Blessing)

Prodigal son.

Younger son squanders the money he got in GREED and older brother is ANGRY when younger brother is celebrated for returning home.

“For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice” James 3:16

I have two boys. Brothers. Our younger son prayed the most beautiful prayer last night over his brother and HIS jealous heart. He prayed that God would help him

encourage his brother and not be envious of his extra time with Dad.

This hit my heart. If a 10 year old can SEE this and ask God to help his selfishness. So. Can. I. 🫶🏻
