Episode 849: Review into the handling of Katie Simpson's killer Jonathan Creswell set to be conducted

The Justice Minister in Northern Ireland is setting up an independent review into the case of Jonathan Creswell who died while on trial for the murder of young showjumper Katie Simpson.

Creswell killed Katie then staged her death as a suicide - 10 years after he had viciously beaten another young woman.

Nicola speaks to journalist Tanya Fowles about Minister Naomi Long’s decision to ‘identify learning’ from the case and investigate why Creswell was not the subject of a risk management plan at the time of Katie’s death.
