Day 6: How to Keep House While Drowning Book Club

Our little virtual book club is a true experiment to see if we can get through a whole book together, learn something that will truly help and support us AND make it a ton of fun ✨😊

To make things a little easier, I wrote out the takeaway task so you can mull it over without having to go back and listen again...

Day Six Homework:

• Find a photo of yourself as a child and put it somewhere you will see it often (fridge, screensaver etc)
• Look at the photo when a self criticism pops into your head, would you say it to that child?
• How might you approach the situation and speak to that child in a more compassionate and understanding way?
• Tell them "I see you, I am going to take care of you and you are worthy of love"
• Optional: write a letter to that younger self and tell them everything you needed to hear at the time.
