The nominees for this year's class for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced. The list is as follows:

Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Mariah Carey, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol & Steve Stevens, Joy Division/New Order, Cyndi Lauper, Maná, Oasis, Outkast, Phish, Soundgarden and The White Stripes.
