Limb Loss and Peripheral Vascular Disease with Elizabeth Genovese, MD

South Carolina has some of the highest rates of lower extremity limb loss in the country, and many of these cases can be traced back to under-diagnosed or under-treated peripheral vascular or arterial disease, known as PAD. Elizabeth Genovese, MD, a vascular surgeon at MUSC Health, aims to change that statistic through innovative new technology that can reduce the risk of amputation for patients with PAD.
