Former Philadelphia Flyers captain Keith Primeau joined us in studio for an interview! Keith talks to us about the 1990 NHL Draft, playing in Adirondack, winning a Calder Cup, and his junior career. Jumping ahead we discuss his time with the Detroit Red Wings, his first NHL fight, getting traded to the Flyers, practice fights, playing for Scotty Bowman, trade to Carolina, and playing for Paul Maurice. Circling back, we dive deeper into Primeau getting traded to Philly, the 2004 playoff run, the 5 overtime game from 2000. Finishing up the interview we talk about the concussions Keith suffered in his career, and his son Cayden’s goaltending career. On the latest segment of Captain’s Corner Mike Richards gives us his thoughts on John Tortorella being fired and Alex Ovechkin chasing Gretzky’s goal record.
