I denne episoden fortsetter samtalen med Magnus Jones. Utgangspunktet var at vi ønsket oss en kort oversikt over relevante EU-reguleringer og spesielt Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Vi kom i mål til slutt, men ikke utenom en del morsomme omveier som til slutt førte til en samtale som varte over tre timer.

Magnus Jones bio:

Magnus Jones is an international thought leader within the landscape of Blockchain and emerging technologies with more than 10 years of experience. Among others, as Nordic Blockchain & Innovation Lead at EY for 9 years. Magnus is now running his own consultancy. He has great experience within all areas of Web3 from Tax & Legal to Fraud/Forensic investigations, Smart Contract Reviews, Crypto Accounting, Tokenomics, Architecture and Government strategies. He has among others created world’s first guidance on how to tax DeFi and NFTs together with Norwegian Authorities. He also built the world’s first Government Metaverse office for Tax Authorities. In addition, he serves several board member roles and is Norwegian Ambassador for GBBC, Member of the INTERPOL Metaverse Expert Group, Member of the Counter-Terrorism Group of Crypto for the United Nations, and a Crypto Expert for OSCE. Magnus is also a lecturer at several Universities and works with everything from the smallest startups to DeFi actors, DAO Foundations, DEXs, Exchanges, to Tradfi actors like banks, Central Banks and Governments.
