About Today's Guest, SSF President Charanpreet Deu

Charanpreet Deu, President of the Seneca Student Federation in his 2nd term as the President. He became the President in May 2018 and prior to being elected for this position, Charanpreet also served as a Coordinator at the Seneca@York campus for the 2017/2018 school year.

While studying at the Seneca@York campus, Charanpreet graduated from CNS (Computer Networking and Technical Support) and have completed his bachelor's in computer science program back in India.

Growing up in India, Charanpreet had the privilege of being an organizing member of the Wikimedia India Conference 2016 at the Chandigarh Group of Colleges.

He also worked in Chandigarh University as a lab's coordinator for Computer Science department for 2 years.

As a student leader, Charanpreet's goals are to promote awareness of student rights, strengthen student relationships with Seneca community, advocate and fight for Student rights, enhance student's life through clubs and associations, organize inclusive and diverse events and most important: "Always be there for you".
