VGK to meet Minnesota in the opening round

The first round matchup fr VGK is set. The Golden Knights will meet the Minnesota Wild in the first round starting this Sunday at T-Mobile Arena. The Golden Knights lost in a shootout in Calgary last night. The one-point gave VGK the second overall seed in the West. Calgary was bounced from the playoffs as Minnesota rallied with a goal with 20.9-seconds remaining. The Golden Knights played without Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, Alex Pietrangelo, Noah Hanifin and Adin Hill. It was well-deserved rest for the VGK starters.
