Barry Wallace, who lived near Kilmarnock in Ayrshire – just a few miles south of Glasgow, was 18 and he had hopes and dreams for the future. But he wasn’t given the opportunity to realise them. It had been his work Christmas party, a night of fun and laughter, but after the party when Barry headed into town to go clubbing, he had the misfortune to cross the path of a brutal, sadistic man.
