Why does NYC Mayoral front runner Zohran Mamdani live in a rent-stabilized apartment? I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. Rent-stabilized apartments in New York City are intended to be for low-income individuals and their families, not for the wealthy like NYC mayoral front-runner and proud socialist Zohran Mamdani. But nevertheless, as his challenger and former governor Andrew Cuomo pointed out, Mamdani lives in a $2,300 per month one bedroom apartment in Astoria, Queens. Mamdani is not low-income in fact, he has a six-figure income, wealthy parents, AND owns property in another country! His wife is also employed and makes a good living. Let’s not forget the two just celebrated their wedding on his family’s compound in Uganda complete with private armed security. Yet, he has the AUDACITY to campaign on the affordability crisis when HE, HIMSELF, is occupying a rent-stabilized apartment that should be left to someone who truly needs that feature!
