"Before the existence of anything, there was light." This statement is most universally understood within the Biblical context, "Let there be Light" in Genesis to describe the dispelling of primeval darkness.

Early Alchemists employed the metaphorical Fire element to describe this most primal creative force, while more contemporaneous perspectives reference the Hydrogen element or the propagation of wave forms derived from pure consciousness as the initiatory creative spark.
