So when this new movie “Pump up the Volume” came out in the early 90’s staring Christian Slater, I instantly could relate. I wanted to use the pinnacle song he played as a pirate radio DJ where he finally admitted he had problems talking to people and relating, especially to a young woman he was very interested in. I knew that song had to be involved in our show somehow.
