Nick is one of my favourite artists of all time, so it was a real pleasure to have the opportunity not only to hear him play in the intimate setting of someone's living room in Glasgow, but also to have a chat with him about guitars and music before and after his gig. I recorded his performance on video and will be posting them up on my YouTube channel over the coming days. I've published one already, my favourite of his - This is the Beginning, a powerful song inspired by his mother as a young lass and her ringing a bell in the tower of a small French village.
