EP 29: In Honor of Cowboy Steve ft. Nena Anderson, Adrian Demain, Jim Austin, Cousin Eli, Matt Ricketts and Katy Martin

On the evening of February 6th, 2023 we gathered to honor and celebrate the life of the great Cowboy Steve. In studio and online via zoom we were surrounded by family and friends including Cowboy’s lovely wife Adrianne and beloved dog Boone. After hearing stories about Cowboy one thing is certain, he loved his family and everyone in his life so much. He touched many lives through his passion for music. The type of human being we all strive to be. Cowboy practiced what he preached and lived a life full of adventure and color.   Nena Anderson, Adrian Demain, and Jim Austin (three fifths of the band Brawley) opened up this special night with a few tunes that were close to Cowboy’s heart. Cousin Eli also shared a heartfelt song that brought us to tears. The final musical guests were Cowboys good friends Matt Ricketts and Katy Martin who’s harmonies brought chills to our bones. This special evening was all put together by one of our oldest musical friends Taylor Wagner. Cowboy was a mentor, great friend, and partner to Taylor. May we rest easy knowing that people like Cowboy have literally changed lives by being truly themselves. The evening was closed out by the man himself performing in a very special winery that happened to have a little recording studio.
