The Morning Footy crew react to the news that USMNT Legend Landon Donovan will reportedly be stepping in to the interim head coaching role at San Diego Wave in the NWSL. The official announcement is expected to be made later today and he could possibly make his coaching debut for the side when the Wave face off against Santa Fe FC in Panama for the Concacaf W Champions Cup. He takes over a team that won the NWSL Shield just a year ago and boasts a roster that includes Alex Morgan, Jaedyn Shaw, and Naomi Girma.
