Newly promoted side Parma were able to pull off the upset on the back of two goals scored by Dennis Man, just 2 minutes into the match, and ultimately Matteo Cancellieri's game-winner in the 77'. American Christian Pulisic did score for Milan, but it wasn't enough in the end.
