The latest Manchester United employee to be sent packing after being fired is Sporting Director Dan Ashworth after just a five months on the job. The former Newcastle United Sporting Director paid the price for United's struggles with multiple reports in England suggesting that United owner Jim Ratcliffe was unhappy with Ashworth's work since joining the club including this past summer's transfer window when United spent more than $200 million dollars. The club currently sits in 13th place in the Premier League table. Morning Footy is available for free on the Audacy app as well as Apple Podcasts, Spotify and wherever else you listen to podcasts.
