Staci and cohost Larry Hansen chat with Josh Kennedy, who is the guitarist and vocalist of The Black Moods, a band that rocks hard and keeps the old-school sound alive. The power trio has gotten radio play all over the world, plus has some tunes on the Billboard charts—we play one of their songs, “Saturday Night” (sans the fever… or the special...), during the show… it’s a banger! The Black Moods have opened for The Gin Blossoms, Robby Krieger, and Whitesnake to name a few, and they have a new album out, which we discuss. Also, Staci talks to Larry about his short horror story in Rock & Roll Nightmares: Do You Fear Like We Do, the 1970s edition. It’s called Love Does Bleeding, and it’s about a teenage girl who decides to write lyrics using a Ouija board… let’s just say that’s not the best idea! Lastly, because the several rumors surrounding Jim Morrison’s death were discussed with Josh, Staci reads from the “27 Club” chapter in Rock & Roll Nightmares: True Stories, Volume One, which is currently an Amazon bestseller.
