The Songbirds Guitar Museum in Chattanooga, TN., once hosted the world's largest collection of vintage guitars and was host to many a great musician on its stage. When the pandemic’s effect on the music industry forced the museum to permanently close, a local musician and filmmaker, Dagan W. Beckett, decided to document the final hours and cultural impact of this special collection. He joins Staci Layne Wilson on today’s podcast and gives insight into the making of his Emmy-winning film. Later on, Staci reads from her upcoming book, Rock & Roll Nightmares: True Stories, Volume 2, taking a story from the chapter “Been Caught Stealing” where she covers the lawsuits Led Zeppelin has faced for alleged plagiarism.
