In Episode five, Josh sits down with Ellen Taylor, a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Thales, whose journey into engineering began with work experience at Altrad Babcock when she was 16.

Ellen has since gone on to complete an MEng in Product Design Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, but her path has been anything but typical.

In this episode, Ellen reflects on the challenges she faced, the key summer placements that shaped her career, and the impact mentors and fellow engineers have had on her development. She also shares her aspirations to become a Chartered Engineer and offers advice for young people starting their own unique paths in engineering.
