The Death Cahir of Thomas Busby

In 1702, convicted murderer Thomas Busby was hanged for killing his father in law, but not before cursing the chair he once sat in at a local inn, declaring death to anyone who dared sit in it. Over the centuries, the so called Busby Stoop Chair gained a fearsome reputation, with numerous deaths including accidents, crashes, and sudden illnesses linked to those who had dared to rest upon it. So feared was its legacy that it was eventually hung high on a wall in a museum, where no one could tempt fate by sitting in the seat of death. Fearful is a podcast produced by Media Forge Studios, and releases a new episode here every Wednesday.
