FBI Says Sheriff Blocking Evidence in Guthrie Case — He Says "Not Even Close"

Day 13 of the Nancy Guthrie disappearance and the two agencies that should be working together are publicly contradicting each other. Federal law enforcement sources confirmed to Reuters, Fox News Digital, and NewsNation that Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos is blocking the FBI from key evidence — a glove found inside Nancy's home and DNA samples. The FBI wanted Quantico. Nanos sent it to a private lab in Florida. The FBI source called it "dumb" and "insane."

Nanos fired back on local TV: "Not even close to the truth." He claims the FBI agreed with his approach. The FBI has not confirmed that.
