#42: The Spirit of Meditative Inquiry, Richard Witteman

#42: The Spirit of Meditative Inquiry, Richard Witteman

In this episode we have a spacious, even meditative dialogue with Richard Witteman, inquiring the spirit of meditative work. Richard began meditative work in 1971, and was a student of Roshi Philip Kapleau at the Rochester Zen Center for ten years. In 1982 he began working with Toni Packer, and has been part of Springwater Center since its inception.

What is meditation without practice or method? Can you look and see into the very nature of consciousness itself? What is the wonder of what we are and can we discover it for ourselves?
