Inflation continues to devour all the “successes” of Russian economy that its' officials trumpet. How to overcome it is unclear. Raising rates doesn't help. The acceleration of inflation is not slowing down. Moreover, with the current level of military spending, Putin's government has to use the reserves, the liquid part of which is being depleted at an incredible pace. All this against the backdrop of a decline in the indicators that Putin’s nomenklatura boasted of.
