9: The Cockley Cley headless woman

On August 27th 1974, an unidentified woman was discovered on a public path in the small village of Cockley Cley in Norfolk. It was a brutal attack and the most shocking part of this discovery is that she had been decapitated. The police investigation into this crime has spanned 44 years and it has been both rigorous and thorough. Despite the crime having some connections and possible links to other missing people and murders, the Cockley Cley woman has yet to be identified. Who was she and what happened to her?
