37: The Jigsaw Murders

37: The Jigsaw Murders

On the 29th September 1935, Susan Haines Johnson was walking over a bridge in Moffat, Dumfriesshire in Scotland. She noticed a parcel floating in the ravine. She was horrified to see that there was a human arm sticking out of it. When the ravine was examined, the police found a number of other parcels with body parts in. The investigation that was carried out would lead to other parts of the UK and to a suspect that at first glance did not appear capable of committing such crimes.
