I understand how this might be an interesting comic strip to someone who had not read the strip from the previous Wednesday. Whatever. Anyway we get into a much more interesting argument about whether or not Jon Arbuckle had some construction work done on his house in the interim between panels four and eight.

CORRECTION: U.S. President James Garfield DID in fact have a mustache.
