Archer Cancelled After Season 14

The upcoming fourteenth season of Archer will be the final season, as announced by FX. The hit animated spy comedy, created by Adam Reed, will premiere on FXX on August 30. The season will kick off with a two-episode premiere, and both episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the next day. Archer, which premiered in 2009, parodies spy films and TV shows, and follows the adventures of Sterling Archer as he tackles the ever-evolving spy world.

Fear Fest, a two-day event organized by Feardemic, is set to return in September. The event will feature a showcase of upcoming horror games and mark the debut of the Horror Games Awards. The live coverage will be exclusively streamed on IGN’s YouTube and Twitch channels on September 6, starting at 11 am Pacific / 2 pm Eastern / 7 pm UK. The first day, titled “Black Summer 2023,” will include a three-hour showcase of highly anticipated horror games with world premiere trailers, developer interviews, special guest appearances, and reactions from content creators. On September 7, the Horror Games Awards will take place, honoring the best horror games and their developers from the past year. The awards ceremony will be held in Krakow’s haunted theatre, with prominent figures from the horror genre presenting golden bat trophies to the winners. Voting for the awards will open later in the year, allowing the gaming community to choose among nominees across 15 different categories. Feardemic’s CEO, Scott Millard, expressed enthusiasm for partnering with IGN and emphasized their goal of making this year’s Fear Fest even more exciting and valuable for horror fans.
