So the question today is can depression because by low thyroid to low thyroid. Okay. And then most of the low thyroid that comes in to my office, 90% of it or more is actually Hashimoto's thyroid disease. Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Tasha motor was euthyroid most of the, most of it well, would be euthyroid euthyroid means that it's it's, it's normal and you're asking about love. So, yes. And I'm gonna go from more from the perspective, if you have actual hypothyroidism, which almost nobody has an actual hypothyroidism, usually that's your diagnosis. There's a good chance that Hashimoto's is lurking somewhere in your, in your physiology, but hypothyroidism slows everything down so you can, you know, so just from that perspective, your brain needs proper oxygen to to function properly. If you get hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism can cause you to have low blood pressure, low adrenal function.

It can even create a situation where you have trouble managing your blood sugar. You're getting a low blood sugar function and the brain needs proper oxygen, which you're not getting. If your blood pressure is low, it needs proper oxygen, which you're not getting. If your, if your adrenals are low and it needs proper blood sugar. And so from the physiological perspective, your frontal lobe is where you get depression and hypothyroidism will, will slow a number of days. It'll give you constipation hypothyroidism aspect is, is like the number one cause of constipation. It's number two, probably number two costs after stress. And so so that can cause poor digestive function. And then that can cause intestinal permeability. And then that can cause these toxins called lipopolysaccharides they're bacterial toxins. They can get out and they can cause depression. So from that perspective, if you had just a straight hypothyroid.

Yeah, I mean, I mean depression and, and poor brain function is one of the most common symptoms of, of poor thyroid function. If you have Hashimoto's which 90 or 95% people who who've been diagnosed with hypothyroid ism actually have they actually have Hashimoto's then the deal with that is Hashimoto's itself decreases blood supply to your whole brain, but we're, but depression mostly occurs in your frontal lobe and and it increases to the frontal lobe and, and then it all, and then it does all the other things that hypothermia does. It alters the function of being able to control your blood sugar and it can, and it can give you hypo hypoadrenalism and so that your, so that your adrenals are pumping the blood up to your head. And so a very common, very, very, very, very common for somebody who has hypothyroidism to have depression.
