Examining Eosinophilic Esophagitis with Dr. Gregg with Gregory Black

Guest: Gregory Black, MD - In this episode Michelle is joined by Dr. Gregory Black, the current President of the SC Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society, and guest for Episode 13 “So You’re Telling Me Allergy Testing is Important?”, and Episode 18 “Dairy vs Soy vs What? The Correct Formula for Your Allergy and Why!” and they are taking a closer examination of that elusive Eosinophilic Esophagitis diagnosis. Okay, so let’s admit, most of us had never heard of “EOE”, as it is more commonly known, in grad school, but it appears to be popping up left and right these days when we go to obtain a past medical history for our patients. This is a hard diagnosis to come by, and unfortunately, it is a hard diagnosis to effectively treat, and for the “Feeding Therapist”, well y’all, it’s hard to try new foods when we are worried about which ones our patients could be allergic to. That’s where the lovely Dr. Gregg Black comes in! He is back, y’all, to explain all about EOE!
