Can you trust election opinion polls this time?

The polls were wrong ahead of the 2019 Australian federal election….and spectacularly wrong back when Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton at the 2016 American presidential election….and don’t mention Brexit.

Casey Briggs is a data journalist at the ABC – he rose to fame explaining Covid figures….well now he’s turned his hand to opinion polls ahead of this year’s election on May 21.
