As a mother, it is essential that you teach your children the importance of families spending quality time together each day, talking and sharing things about their day. The ideal time to do this is when you are all sitting around the table for the evening meal. Ban all phones and tablets from the table, have a family rule that all phones are placed in a box in another room while you have your family meal. Children need to learn how to communicate in a family environment and also experience what it is like to be part of a loving, caring family.
