#209 - The Roots of Feminism and How It's Impacted the Lives of Sex Workers with Dr. Brandy Wiebe

It's rare that my vanilla world and SW world collide...so you'd best believe I was absolutely thrilled when my colleague and friend, Dr. Brandy Wiebe, pulled me aside at one of our work get-togethers and asked if she could chat with me on the podcast. As a professor at UBC in the Department of Sociology, Brandy is esteemed academic with research specializing in sex, gender and sexuality and feminism. We speak about the history of feminism and how the roots its had in contemporary laws that condemn SW and the impact its had. We discuss the roots of where anti-SW was formed, where it's based and we can kind of see a cyclical repeat happening to our community through general whorephobia.
