What Will It Take For Auditors to Be Brave

Internal auditors will never win the most liked department in the organization award. Stop trying. In your role, you will often see the best and the worst in the organization. When times are good, your organization is happy. When times are bad, it's the auditor's fault for either a) not catching it or b) catching it. Of course I'm overexaggerating it a little. But what a no win situation. Stop trying to be liked and just be honest. It's not that difficult. But that honesty requires bravery.

In this episode of Audit Bites, I'll discuss what it takes for auditors to be brave.
