For 67 years the FBI has sought the public's assistance in a special way through one of their most effective and longest running publicity programs- the "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list. Since 1950, the list has led to the location of almost 500 of our nation's most dangerous criminals. While the list began with bank robbers and murder suspects fleeing jurisdiction, it has evolved into a search for organized crime figures, serial killers, and terrorists.
