Players Got Irritated At Me Cause I Wouldn't Give Them More Diamonds

It’s so strange to me that people are mad about finite resources or their being consequences for your actions in a game that is determined by…your actions. I understand some players just want the power fantasy and approach DND like a video game and their only interest is blowing up monsters and getting loot.
