We are no Lara Jean and we might not have met our boy-next-door Peter Kavinsky yet but allow us to ask: Nasabihan ka na ba ng “alam mo, okay naman akong lalaki, hindi ako nanakit” or “alam mo ikaw, titirahin kita”? It may be hard to believe but yup, we’ve heard it once, we’ve heard it countless times and guess what, these unsolicited words came from men we’ve met before. This got us thinking, what do most women have in common? If it’s not the burden of the double standards we’ve been tirelessly going through, it’s also the time not well spent caused by the men who chose to be a useless piece of dick.
