Almost exactly one year since Bill Cosby was released from prison, the disgraced comedian has been found liable of sexually abusing a teenaged girl back in the 70s. As Jim Moret reports, the verdict is the first time Cosby's been found civilly liable, and a stunning take down of a man who's been accused of misconduct by scores of women for years. And when it comes to being American, they're right up there with baseball and apple pie; Girl Scout Cookies. So imagine the possibility that a father is using his daughter to hustle people by taking money for Girl Scout Cookies, and never delivering them. Plus, at least one third of the swimming pools in American have had to reduce their hours or even close because there aren't enough lifeguards to keep swimmers safe. It's a consequence of the pandemic, and that's where this granny comes in. She's heading back to the pool to help out. And has the NFL turned a blind eye to a toxic culture? NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was at a congressional committee hearing today looking into allegations that go back at least 20 years of groping and other misconduct at the team now known as the Washington Commanders. At the hearing Goodell said that “the workplace at the Commanders today bears no resemblance to the workplace that has been described” to the committee. The NFL has fined the Commanders 10 million dollars and Dan Snyder, the team’s owner has stepped down from day-to-day operations. His rep says he didn't attend today's hearing because of business commitments and concerns it wouldn't be fair.
