Shalom! Welcome to Catatan Josephine. What it means by committing adultery? What bible said about abomination? As Christians born again we are being betrothed to Jesus. As our body is the temple of God, where Holy Spirit dwells in you. Holy spirit will talk to you and show you what is right or not. Marriage is a perfect picture from God about His kingdom and our relationship with Jesus, as well as a church with Christ Jesus. It will be adultery if we still keep or didn't follow His first commandment. Because of His love to people He was willing to die for us so we can have eternal life. But he also made Himself vulnerable because of love. He can be hurt. Therefore Jesus said "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21 NKJV.
