Testing VS Assurance

In this episode I share from Judges 6

Gideon is in a place of hiding from his enemies when an angel meets him and calls him a hero and warrior!

God calls the unqualified and QUALIFIES them.

Gideon wrestles with a few things…

1) Is this really an angel I’m talking to ?

2) Does God really want ME to fight these enemies and lead an army?!

3) How will I be able to do this? I’m weak and not brave!

These areas he struggles with he asks for reassurances by testing God. It was his TRUST in God to assure that God really is wanting HIM to do what God has asked of him.

Testing for Gods power with zero belief, faith and trust in Him is you actually Distrusting God.

Assurance in asking for a test is believing in God, but needing to know it REALLY is him telling you!
