2020 has not been funny - Naomi Bagdonas #296

The average four-year-old laughs as many as three hundred times per day. The average forty-year-old, by comparison, laughs three hundred times every two and a half months. Depressing? Yes. Coincidence? Definitely not

2020 has not been funny, but humour can get you through anything.

Naomi Bagdonas is that rare thing, a highly-qualified academic and also a comic. She, along with Jennifer Aaker, has written Humour, Seriously to help all of us – however long we have been lurking at the bottom of our own humour cliff – to bring laughter and levity into every aspect of our lives.

Their research has shown that laughing, quite simply, helps us be better humans.

I loved this. I've changed quite a bit after interviewing Naomi. You will too.
