The Cultural Deprivation of African American Youth within Higher Academia

The University of Missouri has experienced a large amoung of racially motivated protest due to a noninclusve school culture. The school was thrown into a global spotlight when 20 plus African American football players banned together to protest race conditions by not playing football. It worked. Their demands were met immediately but now many are wondering why black youth arent attending HBCUs in order to avoid this issue totally. Tonight we will discuss the pros and cons of attending an HBCU vs a PWI. Join in on the conversation.
