442: Bahrain GP Review - "The Season Start We Needed"

This was the battle that every F1 fan hoped for. A straight fight between the champion and the challenger. A mix of performance and strategy that could have gone in any direction. Lewis Hamilton narrowly held onto the win by 0.7secs ahead of Max Verstappen. On the podcast today we explain the two sets of rules which allowed Hamilton to run wide at Turn 4 almost thirty times during he race, but which caused Max Verstappen to hand back first place after doing the same. Other standout performances we discuss are Lando Norris putting in a solid drive to fourth, and Sergio Perez who charged from a pit lane start to finish fifth. Does this mean we are set for a championship battle which could go down to the wire? Was it a five-lap thriller at the end or do you agree with JBL who thinks it was an anti-climax?
