Question of the show: What is the goal of education?

Synopsis: NCLB (No Child Left Behind) and standardized testing, Unions, Cultural Mentality Shift about Education and Educators, sizes of schools, teacher burnout, bullying, pushing technology, administrator qualifications, teacher training. Education has been relegated to if we can do it safely, we will squeeze it in. Some students prefer work rather than school. Flunking a student is not the preferred method of setting a standard worth reaching. State and federal education has been the driving force in creating the curriculum and standards for schools across the country. Teacher unions have been more involved in determining local school standards and contracts. College tuition increases by more than the cost of inflation
