Society has told us not to say, or even feel certain ways. But why? To be polite? To prevent conflict? The things that are taboo are both positive and negative. Addressing self-esteem issues from the past are frowned upon just as bragging is. But what happens if you ignore society and verbally confront your demons or cheer and praise your achievements?
