𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

• Drain fresh water, make sure grey & black tanks are drained & cleaned
• Open all low point drain and close
• Drain water heater ~ {turn electric off to water heater before draining}
• Hook up air to city water inlet {max pressure 40 psi}
• Blow air through water heater until presence of water is gone & close
• Turn water heater by-pass valve to by-pass water heater ~ if you do not have a water heater by-pass, you have two options (1) use up to 10 gallons of Anti-Freeze (2) have a by-pass installed. Reinstall drain plug
• If you have a water filter for the entire unit or under your kitchen sink, remove it at this time and replace with the filter by-pass. If you plan to replace filter next season, you can leave in place! Cartridge type filters, take off cartridge, empty water and remove filter, then reinstall cartridge
• Open all faucets (one at a time – cold, then hot) while under pressure to blow out all water ~ this includes kitchen, bathroom, shower, toilet, outside shower, outside sink and outside sprayer ports.
• Open low point drains – blow out and close
• Find water pump ~ Using the hose connected to your water pump, insert into gallon of Anti-Freeze or if you do not have one, unhook suction side of pump ~ install a hose with fitting onto pump and insert the other end into a gallon of Anti-Freeze.
• Turn water pump on, run Anti-Freeze through all faucets (one at a time) ~ kitchen, bathroom, Shower, outside shower, toilet, outside sink and sprayer port ~ both Hot & Cold ~ Should take approximately 1 to 1 ½ gallons
• Turn by-pass valve on water heater to normal position and run the remaining ¼ gallon of Anti-Freeze into water heater
• Pour Anti-Freeze in every sink & shower drain as well as put some in the toilet.
• Unhook pump and reinstall hose to tank (not necessary if designed for winterizing with a separate hose on the water pump
• Using an “RV Anti-Freeze Hand Pump Kit” hook up to the city water inlet and pump Anti-freeze past check valve ~ do the same thing if you have a black tank rinse
• Clean Anti-Freeze off the sinks & showers ~ otherwise, it will stain!

*** 2 - 3 Gallons of Anti-Freeze is Required ***
